Wer jetzt kein Haus hat …

The speech melodies, rhythms and timing of her reading of the poem form the basis for the two layers of musical material around which the piece is constructed – a kind of prolongation canon with one voice in ‘real time’ and the other stretched out over the near 10 minute duration of the piece.

An attempt to capture in sound something of the suspended moment between the fullness of late summer and impending letting go that Autumn will bring.

Herr: es ist Zeit. Der Sommer war sehr groß.
