Sink In - an installation
created with Rosa Isaldur as part of Maskinkraft, an art project on
"Industry" - theme for the year 2007. The installation ran for the
month of August at Lutzhøfts Købmandsgård/Roskilde
Museum and was kicked off with a performance on the
4th of August 2007.
The focus of the installation was on the ways in which industry has removed us from a sense of our bodies - how it has provoked ín us an "out of body experience". From hard physical to hard mental work. The installation as a meditation on finding a way back to the body.
The Russian visual artists Mikail Kudinov and Djamal Djumabaeva (St. Petersburg) contributed to the exhibition with a series of artworks.
